What does a man feel when he likes a girl?
What does a man feel when he’s in love?
Men, do you get that bubbly “I never wanna let you go” feeling?
Why do men ridicule each other for being expressive to the women in their lives?
It would be nice if for once, you would just tell me.
Tell me not what it is that “I want to hear.”
Tell me not what it is that you want me to hear,
Tell me what it is that you really feel.
Women always want to talk because men rarely want to.
Talk to us, and maybe we’ll talk less.
Most women don’t just want the gifts and the extravagant outings.
Bags, shoes, dinners, chocolate and flowers.
Sure, they’re nice but anybody can spend money on us.
Don’t speak to us through material things.
We don’t speak that language when it comes to relationships.
We speak with words.
Whether it be English, Twi, Yoruba, the same language that you first asked if I would do you the honor of being your woman, speak it.
We’ll understand.
Women talk because men rarely want to.
Talk to us, and maybe we’ll talk less.
